Is this something that would be easy to do myself ? Is there anywhere to get step by step directions ? What tools are needed ? I am all for doing it myself if I can find idiot proof instructions !

Do-it-yourself Savage-nut style firearm assembly works very well for most cartridges right up till you get to cartridges that headspace on the rim with the need for an extractor relief cut on the breech end of the barrel.
