If the rifle/scope mounting alignment requires a lot of windage adjustments, the scope will not have full vertical adjustment. The number of "clicks" available doesn't change, but how far the movement travels does,especially on lower end optics. My friend has a Ruger #1 that needs 9" right at 100 yards with standard rings, leaves a lot less vertical adjustment. Signature rings allowed adjusting windage inside 3".

Basically the windage not a factor as the bullets impacted less than an inch left at 50 yds.
