Default Project Completed Thanks To A Forum Member

This isn't exactly a small caliber project, but I wanted to give a special thanks to forum member John L. from Oregon.

I have an extra 244 Rem Ai barrel with a damaged chamber from a switch barrel rifle that a shooting buddy wanted to replace a shot out 6mm Rem factory barrel on a 700 action. Since I had sold the reamer originally used to chamber the barrel I needed a reamer to set back the barrel and re-chamber it. I placed an ad in the Classified Forum seeking to buy another reamer. John L. had a reamer, but didn't want to sell it. He then offered to loan it to me, a complete stranger! Only payment asked was to reimburse for postage and a couple of fired cases! I gladly accepted.

The project is now finished and installed on the Remington 700 SA. Barrel is an old SS Wiseman/McMillan, 26", 1:10 twist, Palma contour that only had a few fire-forming round through it. Thanks again John! Vic
