Smile Jim, Thank you for the heads-up!

We've moved both home and shop - things are in REAL chaos here now!
MY old e-mail address will not work after 9/25/06 - don't have a new one yet. Hope the new forum proves as useful as your original! R.G.

Default Welcome, Randy!

Randy,
You're the first one to post on our new bulletmaker forum. I'm hoping to get all the BR bulletmakers, plus some of the other makers, sharing our experiences and making everyone's targets get better.

Good topics include equipment (presses, scales, mikes, etc.), materials (jackets, lead, lube), and techniques (core cutting, lubing, squirting, degreasing, weight control, seating, pointing up, and quality control.

Anybody making their own jackets would be of interest.

Theories, speculations, and experiments are good topics, too.

(Leo Saubier)

Default Randy is none other than...

the Ballistic Idiot of BIB bullets. Randy makes some of the finest benchrest bullets made, was one of the earliest pioneers with the .30br, and continues to create new bullets for the benchrest disciplines (including the new flatbase 6mm heavy bullets for the 600 - 1000 yard disciplines). Randy was a tremendous help in getting us (saubier bullets) going with making benchrest bullets. thanks randy, and welcome aboard. glad to hear that things are starting to settle into the new house and shop.

Jim:

Finally got this thing figured out!!!!! Missed you guys!

Hey, bullet making. I'd sure like to see the jacket punch's and set up.

Then maybe I could figure out how to make them to produce my own bullets. Have wanted to give it a try for a long time. Now that I have time to mess with it, and have a lathe to make the tooling.

Just good pictures to my e'mail would be swell. Don't matter what size's.

Thanks much, does look like a good set up for the forum.
Too bad it's so hard to find the sign up page and nothing else worked.
