Default J-4 .20 Caliber Jackets

anybody else see this?

This is from Eric S. at Berger:

Specifically, this means that bullet makers will now be able to purchase all lengths of 20 cal bullet jackets. The 20 cal has proven to be a remarkably precise caliber and with a greater supply of match grade bullets the 20 cal could give the 6mm a run for its money in short range BR.

I got jacket lengths yesterday. Not exactly the length I wanted but here they are:
.525"
.595"
.640"
.810"

I need a .740" or so jacket, as am not real fond of drawing down .224" jackets.

Default great news.

this is a good thing for small caliber enthusiasts, as up until now the custom bullet makers have been limited to drawing down the .22 jackets which have resulted in thicker jackets and additional processing steps. Less manipulation also has to be good for jacket wall concentricity.

thanks for sharing the info Michael.

Thats a GREAT public announcement from Eric, in writing, wow!
The biggest complaint from the custom bullet makers has been the lack of jackets with inconsistent shipments.

Michael what 20 Calibre bullets are ideal for different length jackets ?
I'm waiting some 60 grain bullets with a cup base.
