Subsonic .17 Squirrel bullet in a fast twist barrel? ....... if I had shot these once and found them to work, then yep. Seeing as how I do not have a fast twist barrel, well, I'm pretty certain that these will just stay in the museum.

There are two ways to make them spin faster so they stabilize. #1 is to drive them at your present velocity, but with a higher rate of twist. #2 is to just drive them faster at your present ratio of twist to driven distance. Or so it seems to me. For a given rate of twist, double your velocity should start them off at a higher spin rate, and that spin should not diminish much during its brief flight.
So, how fast must we spin these things to make them work?
