You gotta stop this thread. You guys are making me look like the most unorganized man on the planet. Each winter I spend good reloading time on organizing my work shop/ reloading area. Each year I saw I won't let it get this bad again.....then the next year comes and I repeat it all over again. Nice tray by the way Harold. The only thing I love more then good gunsmithing work is fine wood work.

In the UK, black powder must be stored in plastic bottles of not more than 550 grams each. These bottles must be kept in a box made from 3/4" plywood designed to hold no more than 9 bottles. The box must have seperate compartments made from a minimum of 1/4" ply. Hinges must be steel, and if any metal (Nuts or bolt heads) are visible Inside they must have plywood glued in place over them. Box should be lockable. Some advise leaving a weak seam when the box is manufactured?
We are allowed 15lbs of powder, whether it be Black, Nitro, or a bit of each.
Ken.

Very nice magazine, Harold. I use some old machinery shipping crates made of nominal 1x pine or 3/4" plywood. I leave the latches open also.

At times, I also have used some old Milk Boxes, which were for home milk delivery. They are double walled galvanized steel with internal insulation. They have hinges but no latches.

Damn Ken, I'd sure be in trouble with powder,
have something like 140lbs of the stuff on an open shelf against a foot thick brick wall that's paneled.
3-4 jugs on the floor where I've been using from it before I was
butchered in Jan. They're still there yet. I don't have over 5 1# bottles, everything is in 8# jugs.

I'm just about the only one that ever goes in there as I live alone, dog Midnight lays there beside me though.

Hate for you guys to see the mess on my loading desk, tools and misc
just piled wherever it'll lay and not fall off on the floor. "hey, I put it down around here last---!"
I know it scares Rider when he goes in there, oh well.

For example, a couple weeks ago I got tired of having my bore guides lying loose on the bench so my friend and I built this bore guide holder on a weekend too miserable and windy to call coyotes. Now hung up on my wall and all are labeled for quick identification. Please share your ideas.

BoyHowdy, that's a dandy! I think you should make a few more of those for Christmas gifts this year for a few select board members. How could I dig through my pile of guides if they were all organized like that?!?!

Kenny, I'm with George. You guys would lock me in jail and throw away the keys for all the powder I have! Lol

Sounds exactly like my reloading room, George, only mine's on a smaller scale, much smaller.
Ken.

Well OK, it does now that I looked it up.
Shucks, when things fall off the pile, just
