This has to be my dream pistol build. I honestly don't know how well I could shoot it, but I want one.

Yes, it has always been on the back burner. I just always had other projects that got in the way.

I cant wait to start

I wouldn’t waste the money on a pistol scope on the rig. I would go right to a good rifle scope and never look back. Full bull and a bipod with a rear bag, plenty heavy to hold in position.

I think the 1-12” or 1-14” twist is a good move. Had a CZ527 Hornet, 1-16” would only digest the standard style Hornet bullet. I tried enough loads with 40 grain VMax to give up. I ran them hard trying to over come the twist issue, side ways through the paper at 50. It would not shoot any of my CB’s either. Got my Model 40 back and life is good once again.

I had a bull barreled Encore pistol chambered in .218 BEE that was a fantastic shooter, as I recall it was a 12 twist and favored 55 grain bullets. It was stocked for bench shooting using a variation of the Don Bower shooting rest that used leather instead of sand paper. I always used a rifle scope on it and shot several groups that measured in the mid .2s at 100 yards. I would second the K Hornet recommendation also.

It sounds like a great project!
