Ruger M77 Screw Sizes?
Could someone tell me the screw sizes on the M77, the mounting bolts holding the stock to the action? Or where I could find out.
Thanks, Tom |

If your rifle is a Ruger 77/22hornet, #12 x 24tpi seemed to work for me.
Brownells or Foresters site might be of some help with inletting type screws, they sometimes give more specifics as to size and thread type. |

Most likely 1/4X28
Pull a Remington screw and thread it in BY HAND. If it fits then it is 28tpi.
