Default Some pics my wife took - HEY DAA!!!

We are visiting my son in the AF who lives in CO. Went antelope hunting in Wyo last weekend and have been touring around CO Springs this week. My wife took some awesome pics, the closeup mule deer buck was with DAA's awesome lens I bought for her YEARS ago and she never had a chance to use. She sure did well for the first few shots with it.

These 2 bucks were in Garden of the Gods.

Me and my much better half.

some scenics from Rocky Mtn. National Park. We took a 2 mi hike to Emerald Lake at the butt-crack of dawn to get there. We hiked to 10K ft. Out of breath, tired, but worth it.

on the way out we stopped at Estes Park and found this herd bull and 30 or so cows, with a half dozen satellite bulls nearby. He didn't like them, and put on a real show.

For the country music fans, we hunted antelope near Kaycee Wyoming, home of Chris LeDoux. He died in 2005 and his family and friends dedicated a park in his honor. I love the monument. Always been a fan of his. He had some awesome songs and was also a Champion bareback rodeo rider.

We also did Pike's Peak...elev. 14,115 ft. Whew, the air is thin and cold up there!

Almost forgot, I did get my goat. 355 yards from the flat under that Butte at the top. Ruger precision rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. Horbady 143 ELDX. It's a horned doe. Doe tags are cheap, like me. Wind was terrible. Only hunted a day and a half. My boy missed 2 times the first day at 300 and 345. I had to show him how it's done.
