Default Polishing a SS barrell

You can do it yourself. Depending on the finish you want to end up with. Buy some 200 grit sandpaper and go to work. Move to finer and finer grits until you are where you want to be. It just takes time.

320 is what most aftermarket barrel makers use but if you want to attain a mirror finish, work up to finer grits and then use rouge on a buffing wheel.

It's a new Cooper and that would involve me breaking the barrel loose from the action and then polishing. I would rather hire a professional for professional results.

Definitely will check with Bob Green. As soon as work gives me some free time I will check with him. Again, thanks for all the info.
