A stub kit with a .221 would be fantastic! I could see them doing a .223 again, but no way a .221 fb.

After having hunted with a T\C Super 14 in 223 for almost a year, I came to a few conclusions. Even though I could shoot it exceedingly well out to 300yds, it never made sense to me. It kicked like a good stout 44mag, lost too much velocity, seemed to be as heavy as my model 700 and more work to clean.

I think the pistol cartridges make the most sense in a 14" barrel because they usually make big gains in velocity, 327 federal and 357mag being optimal. Although a XP100 in 221 or a Super 14 in 17 or 22K Hornet would be mighty tempting!
