"Semper Fi" back at you guys and thanks for the recognition. Do our Bro's in the Army, Navy, Coast Guard and Air Force have special days to celebrate? I feel kinda bad for not knowing the answer to that as we are all in this together .
I sure do remember feeling awful puny a few of the days after the Corps B-Day, not purty, not purty at all ! Not to go all old guy on ya and regale ya with tales of old but I do remember one particularly bad Nov. 11th when we were rolled outta the rack before it was even warm from us rolling into it and loaded into Deuce and a Half's to go do what ya do in the Crotch. I clearly remember the diesel fumes I was breathing triggering a sudden desire to unload last nights chow....a lot! It's what ya call a real bad day in the Corps . I still hate diesel stink in a big way!!!

It started out that way and progressed on through a number of changes till I think I saw my socks come up . Rotgut whiskey and teenagers, what a mix. I also remember the compassion of my Bro's as it was happening, I barely made it outboard of the truck and there was a bit of blow-back causing one of my more sensitive brothers in arms to say "IF YOU'RE THAT SICK GO DIE SOMEPLACE ELSE", ah the camaraderie !
