Default Bullets.com Closing the doors sale

http://www.bullets.com/search?q=(cat...owders)&page=2

Hey all,

Was tipped off from another forum about this closeout sale from

Bullets.com

Seems they are going out of business. Have some pretty great deals on powders/bullets (look at the prices on those Bergers)

Vit N133 powder 8lbs for $164............$20 hazmat, plus shipping.

IMR 4320 8 lbs kegs for $ 128.60

Anyway, have a look if your interested in emptying your wallet.
I'm just passing it along. I'm currently trying not to go broke looking at their website.

Did your order of Bergers come from bullets.com?

I've never ordered from them before.

I've never heard of them until this morning.

I would venture to say I'm not alone in that regard.

However, great opportunity now for the consumer to get some great deals.

I have used them a couple of times for hard-to-find rifle brass.

But....... previously you have to watch their stuff closely and take some of it with a grain of salt. Sometimes what looks like a "real deal" sale that catches your eye might not be because they sometimes post a current sale price (that is competitive with other places) and the original before sale price is very high. So it might look like a huge savings when its not. Creative marketing........

Still, they've had brass a few times that no one else does and their "sale" prices have always been fair for my wants.

I've also bought a couple of leather handgun holsters from them in the past, with again the same scenario. Maybe 6 months ago they had a huge dump sale on their holster inventory maybe in anticipation of closing the doors. But overall I've always been happy with the price I've paid.

I hate to see any dealer go out of business.

Thanks Hal,
I agree I hate to see any company ran by good people go out of business.

I also noticed what you mentioned. Some of their deals aren't really deals They have 1,000 speer 52gr HP bulk bullets " on sale" for $118 (not a deal at all, as you know).

But, they have speer 50 gr TNT for $72 per 1,000..........great deal.

Also, the prices on their berger bullets right now are pretty crazy

22 cal 52gr Match Varmint for $16 per 100.........yep

However, if you need any IMR 4320 or other powders, they have great prices on them, even with the $20 hazmat.

Just an FYI - I edited my post above so what you quoted has changed with further clarification added to my original post.

Thanks for the tip! (I think).

The AA2200 is a great deal, also I have been eyeballing a T-7 turret press, so I bought one of them at a good price. Sucks I get stuck with WA sales tax 10% but they are still great prices.
