Hey Tony, doing very well thanks...

Been a bit distracted with my 17 Hornet lately... sorting various case forming issues and working up loads now settled on Vihtavuouri N-120 for 20gr and ADI 2207 for the 25gr.
Got another 119 NOS RWS Hornet cases coming that I bought for the same price as new Hornady brass so the planets aligned for once

Plan on getting back into the two No 1s very shortly... 17 Hornet work neat completed, just gotta track down another can of N-120!

That's good to hear mate. The 17's are addictive.
I zeroed mine today, in windy conditions and it groups ok with the fire forming rounds. Forgot to take the Chrony, didn't I Oh, well. Next time.

I know this is an old thread but since I first saw it, I've been thinking about those extractors and how they snapped those cases out of the chamber.
The Martini seems to be pretty weak in the "extractor" department so maybe the mod would boost the reliability of the Martin conversion to center fire? Thinking on the lines of changing the rim fire to center fire for a 17 VHA?? Can the "extractor" be had on our side of the pond? Mike.
