I am getting 3656 fps from my 24 inch barrel and 18 gr H4198. I wish I got 3777fps.

HS , have ??? on the .231 neck chamber.. Isn't that a tight Neck Dia. I have one done by Tannel @ that size & I have to turn neck walls to 12th to make them work ??? Russ..

It is a No Turn Neck the .231. .224 is tight neck on the Vartarg and thats the only neck Todd Kindler Started out with. No turning my necks as the new brass measures .228 out of the dies!!!!!!

20 Vartarg has stole the show this summer its the weapon a grab the must when i want to get the job done!!!!!!

Installed a New Scope on my Vartarg today. Weaver Super Slam 4-20x50. Me and my little brother got our first kills today with the new optic. 2 Groundhogs were taken late this evening with this awesome round and what i think is going to be a awesome scope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rebarreled my Vartarg to a 20 PPC but i have got another 700 action im going to build me a new Vartarg just got to make up my mind Lilja or Hart Barrel!! I have had lots of Hart 20s Shoot like a house a fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I envy you guys. Down here there's no such luck. For volume, it's targets for the most part.

Gotta love the vartarg though.............

A short while back I was checking the zero on some "deer rifles" before I went to my lease.

Took my Cooper Model 21 Varminter in 20 VarTarg along for some "light entertainment" while waiting for the barrels to cool between groups.

Here are three different groups shot at 100 yds.

First two are 5 shot groups, each RL7.





The 10 shot group is H-4198.



Love those Coopers.
