CZ 527 American Action Screws
Does anyone know what options might be out there for replacing the two action screws on a CZ 527 American?

Have you tried contacting CZ, there was somebody at one time making aftermarket action screws cant remember who it was but seems they were pricey.

CZ action screws
The Saubier member selling them was Kenny Sciero. He also had replacements for the rings.

I used the JP screws on one of my CZ 527's and they're ridiculously priced for two little screws and an Allen wrench that wasn't even the right size but I have to admit they are nicer to use than the standard slotted factory screws. I don't recall if it was the front of the back but the head of one of them was slightly to large and it needed to have a bit taken off of the diameter before it would fit properly.
More principal than anything but JP gouges you pretty good on the action screws which are small and weigh little to nothing but then they stick it to you on shipping as well. I'm only one state away and they charged me ten bucks for shipping on something that could have been mailed in a USPS soft pouch for a couple bucks. Not that 35 bucks is going to make or break anyone it just seemed a little excessive. |

Most Ace Hardware stores carry a great selection of fasteners. It might cost you a total of $2.00 to replace them.
I went yesterday and bought 4 small 10-24 countersunk, short, black oxide finished screws for a friend's forend on his AR. Perfect fit and 50c each. |
