Default CZ527- new barrel.

Bob Green. Excellent gunsmith with quick turnaround. In addition, a nice guy.

Barry:
Good to see new blood n money on board.
Would be nice to see where you are posted in the header too.

Just because you "want" that bee is more than enough reason to
go for it. Hope you can make it work, if not, maybe you can work a
swap for one.
Good luck, and have fun.

Another vote for Greg. What I like about Greg for a CZ 527 is that he can single-point the threads on that tiny action and bush the firing pin hole if you want. He can also double sleeve the bolt on the little CZ if you want. He built a .20 Var Targ Turbo for me many years ago that was practically a one-holer at 200 yards. Like the idiot that I am, I sold it.

What about site sponsor Kevin Weaver? I've never had a gun built by Kevin Weaver but I have talked to him on the phone a couple times.

If you need a 218 Mashburn Bee dummy round to help you with this project, I can send you one.

Thanks john,
I've been shot down on my Bee project in the CZ by two gunsmiths. They tell me the bolt will be too thin if I open it up for the Bee, so I'm shifting gears and am going to rebarrel and chamber for .223 instead. I'd much rather have the Bee but I'll have to wait until I find a suitable receiver for that project. Thanks for the offer though. I am really impressed with how nice everyone on this site is.

Barry, instead of 223, have you considered a 20 Vartarg? Same bolt face, five times the fun.

Ask the forum members what they think of the caliber if you're in doubt.......

Barry I have a 218 Bee and 25-20 WCF based on the CZ Hornet actions that were opened up. Barrels are coned so they feed a little better, single shot only. I don't think you'll ever get them to feed from a magazine.
