.222 Remington Mag. Loads
Hi Guys,
Been in the right place at right time and have got onto a Sako HB Varmint, L461 all original, in .222 R. Magnum. Will plan initially to scope it with a 4-12x40 Redfield. Just got 3 die set in RCBS and some new Sako brass, just after some load data if anyone on the forum has a .222RM that they may be using, I will use 50gn. SP. projectiles or Berger HP projectiles, plan is to use Australian powders 2207 or 2206H, may also try Reloader 7. Hope to get out next week to test fire some loads. Thanks for any help, regards Jay. |

222 Rem Mag
good find sounds like a nice rifle. I shoot 2 222 Rem Mag, both customs on 700 actions. I use H335 in both, one with 50 gr Vmax the other with 40 gr Vmag.
maybe try the powder close to the burn rate of H335 hope this helps |

H4895 gives me good accuracy and velocity in my two 222 RM rifles using 52 grain Sierra BTHP bullets.
BL-C2 is another good 222 RM powder. Not as fast at H4895 but excellent accuracy in my two rifles. -BCB
