Default What's become of Doug?

Nothing I've seen since he got his new truck.

Maybe he's still shoveling snow.

Hey 17vld:

How much of this lovely white stuff did you get today?

3" down here. I'd planned on sleeping til noon.
So much for such plans! Had to go out in it twice.

First time all summer i've had jeans on, been wearing
short pants til today.

Cheers, hope you didn't get a snow like you had in '16.
That was about as bad as it gets. I couldn't tell where i was
except between lanes of traffic. No way to see the walls,
or even the overpasses. Never heard how deep it got. Do you
recall? That was in the spring sometime.

Default Well George...

We first got some freezing rain which gave people fits, then about 2” of snow on top.It seems people have to relearn how to drive on this stuff all over again.I do remember that storm, glad I have Jeeps to get around if needed.Sometimes I wish I wasn’t so far from work, but it certainly could be worse.
Doug called the other day, looking forward to calling him back this weekend when I have some free time.

Craig:

Get your own generator and it'll stay on!

Blackouts are a whole lot better than blocks of ashes
dead folks.

Remember what happened up north last year?

Don't complain!

You people should have cooperated in letting them lay those
lines under ground then you wouldn't be in this fix when the wind
blows

I guess I really wasn't thinking when I appeared to be complaining that the power was off here. Quite the opposite, however now I see how it came across.

Wildfire here has been brutal in the past and PGE turning off the power was the absolute correct decision in my opinion. So many short sighted people (govenor, Rep (R) Tom McClintock (very disappointing) down to including my liberal neighbor. So many people only care about themselves it's amazing.

Tried to snow here last Monday evening, but was short lived and melted before noon the next day. It was early. Heard about the snow Down South in Montana. Yikes!
