My 17AH CZ527 has a Calhoun single shot follower in it, that does not feed at all well. Not actually tried the magazine though !!.

as hornet case is rimmed , a single shot follopwer must be angeled to allow athe bullet to look up towards the breach, if follower is ment for 222. famly then they have wrong angel on them,

Seems there are 2 sizes from Calhoun, mine is marked S, so I assume that uis small.

You are right the angle is not sharp enough. Mind you I dont need a fast follow up, its either dead or run away!!.
