Default BRNO ZKW-465 question?

Does anyone know of a source for an after-market (stiffer) firing pin spring for the BRNO ZKW-465. I'd like to try and reduce my lock time by a few minutes, if possible. Also. can anyone recommend a good 'smith who can trouble shoot some trigger fitment issues. I got rid of my double set and installed a Timney Mauser trigger and am having a bolt clearance issue.

Thanks,

Jordan

Only suggestion I could make is look at a CZ 527 spring, I don't know if they will fit, but it could be worth a try.

Good idea. I'll order one and see how it goes.

The CZ 527 spring will fit a ZKW 465 but is a bit too long for the shorter ZKW bolt and can cause coil binding issues.

Better to order a new ZKW spring from Wolff Gunsprings... I have a couple and they fix the soft pin strike ignition issues often found on these otherwise very elegant 50+ year old rifles. Faster locktime may be a bonus... the Wolff spring is rated at 11lb vs standard factory spring at 9.5lb value at $8.29!

Be interested in seeing pics of your Timney trigger installation... while they look great, I'm not a fan of the double set triggers.
When unset they are so heavy as to be almost unusable, when setting they make a loud 'click' which alerts sensitive game like foxes... yet when set they are too light for anything but the most careful shooting from a rest.

Thank you Tilley. Much appreciated! I'll shoot you photos of my trigger in a day or two.
