rear grip xp-100 15" full cylinder barrel in 6 ppc.

well guys I got to shoot the xp-100 today, this was the only load I got to shoot. 25 gr h322 with 70 gr nosler balistictips, velocity was 2551 fps. range was 100 yards with calm conditions and 75*.

Looks to like you didn't have to go too far to find "bug holes".
Converted my .221 Fireball chambered XP into a rifle after I developed shoulder issues doing the "reach thing" with a LER scope.
Shoulder issues went away so I ended up building an SP out of a Savage lefty repeater action with a single shot adapter.

Most fun I ever had with my XP Pistol was when I turned a kid onto shooting it at steel. Grampa said it was OK for him to shoot it. Maybe 11 or 12 years old. Set him up and told him about the "hair trigger". First shot out to 100 yards with a bolt action pistol? CLANG!! I bet that kid STILL has a grin on his face. Grampa got a kick out of it too.

Question: IS that barrel curved or is it all illusion from the stock?

Default Very nice rig.....

XP’s are so much fun and addicting.
Nice shooting and very sharp looking paint ,that pistol is a keeper for sure.

straight cylinder George, it's an illusion. I have some Johnson and shilen 68 gr match bullets. we'll see if it like them.

yes mike been a piffle addict since the 70's.
