Bee Brass
If you use/want to use 218 bee brass, give Starline brass a call or email and let them know. They decide future offerings based on demand and keep a tally list of requests. The more requests they get the more likely it is that they will make bee brass. They currently produce 32-20 and it should not be much of a change to make bee brass since they share the same case head. A little competition to Winchester would be nice.
Phone Number I have 660-827-6640. Drew |

we all need to call starline and get them on board. Unless a lot of calls get made they will not be offering it

While we are at it, lets add .22 Hornet, .17 Hornet, .25-20, .357 Max..any others?
everything I have ever used from Starline is top notch. Generally they are the least expensive option, but outclass Rem and Win in quality. By FAR.

Maybe a ''basic'' straight wall Bee case, slightly longer than needed for the 218 Bee. This would require less draw dies on Starlines part. As wildcatters it would open up a lot of ''what if'' designs. Same thing could be done for the Hornet and as well as the Vel Dog case used in the CCM's.

On their facebook page i asked and got this reply
Michael Liechty: Would you consider making .218 Bee brass? Starline Brass: Thanks for reaching out to us Michael. We don’t currently have any plans to produce brass for the .218 Bee. We do make its parent cartridge, the .32-20, which can be formed into the .218 Bee. Michael Liechty: But when formed the overall length is too short leaving a very short neck. Please reconsider Starline Brass: We understand your concern. We are currently working on several other new calibers at this time, but may reconsider at some point in the future. Thank you for your input. ML

ML, I wonder if we all pooled our money together for a large group buy?
Thanks to Ray, I have 1k of the 357 max brass and 1k of the 360 DW brass on top of what I already had (mostly crappy new RP brass) Depending on price I'd be in for a min of 2,000 pieces of 228 bee brass.

Gary I tried that approach.. Michael Liechty: Would you consider doing it as a custom run and if so how many peices would I need to purchase, I'm willing to understake this as there is a demand for it Starline Brass: We aren't able to do that at this time, but appreciate your interest and input. I read that a pretty definite No/ Nope/ Not a Chnace/ Get your bee brass elsewhere
