Lightbulb 20 gr VNExtremes in the .17 Remington

It's a windy rainy out in N. Indiana today. I'm going to try some H-322 With some VNX Mid-South 20gr in my .17 Remington. Start at 22.5 gr. Will test Sun.at Winamac rifle range. Be back with results, only loaded 10 rounds. Dave

Default Range report.

A great day to go to the range. Four shots measured .260"' without flyer. with flyer .638''. I know B.C. is pretty low but splat factor should be high! LOL!

A rifle that shoots .638" groups at 100 yards sure will kill lots of varmints.

What hardware did you use to launch those bullets?

Default Range& Rifle recipe.

I used 22.5 gr. of H-322, VNX 20 gr. bullet with WSR primer. 17 Rem. 700 action and Lilja barrel, An old Weaver T-36 scope, Timney 12 oz. trigger. I will check some hay fields this coming weekend for some GH's! Dave PS No crony for velocity--sorry. LOL.
