Default I like mine....

While mine is a 10” pistol it sure is fun to shoot.I have seen EdsContenders has offered 14” barrels that I would really enjoy having.I reload the Craig brass with AA powder and think a carbine barrel would be nice too.MGM has a reamer and they really make great shooting barrels, perhaps a 23” would be the ticket, wonder if the would export to you.

Matt I think it was Ed's that them listed with 23" or 22 " barrels but still called it a carbine.

Its hard down here to access all the good toys you fellas have but now ive lucked into 1,100 rounds of 5mm ammo it got me thinking a single shot would serve my needs better than the 592, I don't do a lot of shooting now just a few rabbits so i'd like to put something together in a single shot rimfire

Plenty of cheap Martini Cadet actions floating around John, though as you are on your "No More Builds" kick, it will make things a little difficult and embarrassing for you. But it will give a lot of us a good laugh.

Disregard...

If they are available down there, you could start with a 17HMR barrel and have it rechambered.

Disregard...

Do you mean re-barrel? I'm old and confused!

Yes, re-barrel, change the caliber and you need a new barrel.

I understood what Eric was saying i'm sure he meant re barrel.

Brings me to the question what break action decent quality rifle could be re barrelled to 5mm, not sure if the handi rifle was done in rimfire if so I don't recall seeing one down here, what about you Mark?

Yep, sorry! I just reread what I wrote (what a mess)! After spending an hour with someone on the phone about the 17WSM, I had the 17WSM on the brain!

Disregard what I wrote, unless you want a 17WSM!
