Default Thank you Mr. Reed!

I received my package today and I am very satisfied in seeing your 22 CCM loaded ammunition

Thank you this nickle plated brass is for my collection but if I decide to ever shoot it I’m well stocked with those 30 gr bullets the head stamp brought a big smile to my face!

I just read the photo posting sticky, see if I learned anything

I want to add a thanks to Mr Reed and company.

I wanted to try the cast lead .17 bullets from the NOE molds before I bought the Molds.

The Reeds website showed them as in stock. I bought a hundred of each of the two weights. They were well cast and well lubed. I had a ball with them, but, especially the 32 grain.

I have purchased a sample (100) of several of the .17 jacketed bullets from the website as well. I have been pleased with all of them.

Thanks to the folks at Reeds.

Hope to not derail this too far. I saw the .17 moulds listed at NOE. I currently have purchased 2 moulds from them, both casting bullets for my Condor PCP rifle in .25. The moulds are incredibly well made, indeed, the first mould had one cavity in HP. The hollow point cavity's plunger was adjustable for depth- VERY well made. I also picked up a 4 cavity mould casting the same bullet, a 51gr. Boat Tail flat nose. Beautiful mould it is, too. My friend wanted the DC mould with the hollow point cavity, so I sold it to him. The plunger was also reversible so the mould cast 2 flat noses, or one as a HP.
They are very well priced and make Lee moulds look like used toilet paper.

AMEN!

I'm not fond of many Lee products. The factory crimp dies are good. The molds are not exactly junk, but are far from decent.

NOE does make wonderful molds. I think we have close to 50 of them now over several calibers and they all work wonderfully.

Another two makers to consider are Accurate Molds http://www.accuratemolds.com/ and Arsenal Molds http://arsenalmolds.com/. Accurate is a custom shop and he has a catalog of all the molds he has made in the past. Any changes you want just tell him and he will do it. The cost is incredibly low for the amount of customization you can get from him. If what you have in mind is not listed, just e-mail him and he will draw it up. He does not do hollow points or true round noses and not less than 7mm. Arsenal is a growing shop that make molds that are very close to NOE in quality but they do not have near the available options that NOE has and they do not do HP's. For HP to a mold you have or from a shop that does not do them I HIGHLY recommend http://www.hollowpointmold.com/ very, very good work and they do other work as well.
