Default FS: Weaver Rifles 20 Practical $1700 shipped

This rifle is for sale again as of today. Buy it! It's a smoking hot deal!

Hi. I'm offering a rifle that Kevin built for me. It's built on an early 1970's 700SA. 24" Krieger 11 twist barrel, Williams bottom metal, Jewell hunter trigger and safety, Holland lug, black McMillan HTG stock, Talley bases and rings, Leupold 4.5-14x40 LR, varmint reticle. This gun was done from the bottom up inside and out. Kevin trued the action, stock is pillar and glass bedded. I haven't used it like I wanted to and it's just sat in the safe, apart from load development, which amounted to less than a hundred rounds. It didn't really need it as this rifle shoots 40gr vMax into one hole with almost every load I tried. Kevin's test target on this gun is one hole also. No scuffs, marks or dings of any kind. $1700 shipped with the scope and load kit (Forster seater, Redding 223 s sizer die w/bushings, etc). Will email pics if you're interested. Can't figure out how to do it here.

Hi Pete,

Do you know what contour of that barrel is and total weight of the rifle?

Thanks, Phasor

It's a #2 contour. I don't know the weight, but would guess it's about 7-8, including scope. Can weigh it exactly if you wish... take a day or so.

I'm glad you did. I'm waiting for Kevin to finish my 20-223 build and couldn't not figure why you wanted to rid yourself of it, unless you had too many 20s already.
