I thought .17Rem was about IT in a big case .17!
I do need another .17Rem., though - for wolves.

My last one was re-chambered to .17AH when our gopher ranges became close - under 400ayrds.

I built several 17-22/250 for guys wanting to save coyote pelts . Guys liked them .
I did one project with the 17 -22/250 with a 1-6 twist Douglas dedicated to the Berger 37 VLDs .Being a real smart guy I thought ah ha the ultimate long range coyote rifle . If I could drive those bullets around 3700 - 3900fps amazing things would happen .The problem was above 3100 fps the bullets came apart . I gave up on the 37 vlds after several other ideas and failures .Did learn though .

Sorry did not mean to change thread .
Chris

How you doing? Kids n O/L ok too?
Hahaha, no George, that barrel has only had about 100 rounds through it. I've pulled it off and will screw it onto my ZKW 465 and do a .17 AH/.17HH when the 3 groove Pac nor .17 AH shoots out.

The kids and wife are great, I hope everything is good with you?
