Default Speeds for Nagel bullets.

I am building a 17 WCH and my question is how fast have any of you pushed Nagel bullets?? Will they hold together and make it to paper at speeds of around 4100 fps?? I had a 17 WCH before and had great luck with kindler golds. But since those are not available anymore I am thinking of using Nagel 30 grain bullets.

I run em out of my 17-204 just over 4000 fps with no problems. Chan's newer bullets with his jacket seem to me to be a tougher jacket then the old j4 jackets. I say that because I get more pass throughs with his new bullets then I used to get with the bullets he made using the j4 jackets.
I don't think you'll have any problems.

No. But about everyone that was broadside when I shot it, the bullet passed through. Wasn't blowing big holes for the most part and they killed well. But if I didn't hit shoulder, the bullet didn't stay in.

I have always wondered why it seems people are more interested in FPS than a load that gives the best accuracy.
A fast miss is not better than a slower and accurate hit on a given target.

I could consistently keep groups under 1/2 with those speeds.
I'll agree with TR. I think Chans older bullets killed a bit better. More bang/flops.
