Sounds like you have the die in too far and it's crimping the case mouth. You should have 1/8" or so, thicnkness of a nickle, between the bottom of the die and shellholder. Or the die may be out of spec and needs backed out more.

By chance is the die itself to low in the press? Some dies have a built in crimp. To test, put a case in the shell holder and raise the ram all the way up. Then screw the die in until you feel resistance. Then back the die out some. Try seating a bullet.

this is my thoughts as well. I never use the die crimp feature.

Until you get the problem figured out,
bell the case mouths just a touch. Make sure the chamfer is smooth and measure the button to be sure it's the right size too. Mic the bullets and OD of case neck. All these things have to be within tolerance or things will jamb up as you're finding out. Simple stuff will drive a person nuts sometimes. Once you figure it out and get it working right let us know what you found.
