Default Dillo's are tough

Been eliminating armidillo's from a farm I hunt. Last year I shot 15 in one day while filling in the holes the had dug in the field. This time I got 15 in 2 hours. Shot them with the 17 v-raptor and 20 great vmaxes at 3700 fps . The bullets go in and don't come out. Entrance holes are a different story. All the energy goes back out the entrance holes making a Hugh hole.
One dillo's rolled over on his side and ran in place for over a minute until he unwound.

Good deal, helping the farmer for sure.
Take any pics you could share?

What load are you using to get that much velocity? Re: WOW!!!

Shows what little I know. I thought armadillos were only in places like Texas and Arizona. Sounds like fun, though. Kind of like taking out a mini tank I bet.

they are as far north as the Missouri river. only critter in north America known to carry leprosy and they also like turkey eggs.
just to little lead in the 20 for a explosion factor. maybe I will try 25vmax and 30 Berger's on them.
dillo's not listed as a game animal so I have to watch and wait until the start digging, which makes them a pest and destructive and are subject to elimination.

Yup, they're north of the MO river too. Saw some in Montgomery County, MO back in September.

Saw one this summer on side of Western Ky parkway. Had no idea they were here. My son said he saw them in Land between Lakes in Western Kentucky.
