Jordan, here is a for what's it's worth comment. I've had several X-caliber barrels...(currently) a 8-twist in a 6-284, 11-twist (3-groove) in 20 Mink, and a 11-twist (3-groove) 20 Javelina Improved. All three shoot (3) shot groups in the hi 1's to the hi 2's at a 100 yds. The 6-284 has taken PD's at over a 1000 yds. For a button rifled barrel I've considered them to be good..but I haven't bought any of their barrel blanks in quite awhile. 410gauge

I have a .20 cal. Xcaliber barrel I bought from a member here and had it chambered in .204. It shoots amazing to say the least. I was so impressed I had to order another one from xcaliber to build a 6 creedmoor. I should have that about end of January and my gunsmith will put it together. Hopefully it shoots as good as the .204.

I bought several while Sherm was there and were very good shooters. I think I would still buy blanks, but without Sherm I won't buy the pre fit stuff.

Same with me, I bought 3-4 when Sherm was there, but would be cautious now. New owner and prices jumped. Bill K

Default x caliber

I have six of their 20 cal barrels. 20 ackley hornet, 20 killer bee, 20 practical, 204. and a couple not installed yet. all that I have installed shoot great. I had ordered two cryogenic barrels that had to be sent back. before installation as I was inspecting them with the bore scope I found damaged from the liquid used in the cryogenics, they made good on them and replaced them. in comparing the looks of the bore to kreiger, pac-nor, douglas and CBI (others that I have used recently) I find the bores to have a excellent polished/ lapped look, as good as any of those.

I have chamberd and shot several 20 Vartargs and 20 Tacs with xcaliber 3 Groove 11 twist barrels. All rifles will shoot under 1/2 MOA. Most are shooting 1/4 to 3/8 groups at 100 yards.

Not what I wanted to hear. I just ordered a 6mm contoured barrel blank about a month and a half ago.
