Default Russ Haydon's is still open...

I called friday and spoke with Marsha about some dies and bushings.
Well I was pleased to see my order was already here today.
I will truly miss their great service when they finally retire.

As Marsha explained to me, they are still reducing inventory and then it's on to retirement. Unless, of course, something has changed. Very nice people, great service.

Maybe now Russ will finally have time to get out into the rat patch. The last time we went out together, we sat for two hours waiting for the rats to come up, then learned that the entire field had been poisoned!

For all the years those two have given us excellent products and service, they do indeed deserve to retire in style....in the rat patch of course, it was my choice too.

Russ and Marsha were my go shop when I needed something. They'd special order anything I ask about, they will be missed. When ever I flew into Seattle for work , I'd take a day and drive up to Gig Harbor to shop and talk to Russ. Matt are they still taking special orders. A couple weeks ago I never thought to ask Marsha that.

Wishing the two of them the best. Over the years I ordered the hard to find odds and ends from them that no one else wanted to mess with. Always a pleasure to do business with them. The sad part is thinking about my first order to them, the years have really slipped by for all of us.

I would give a call, check their website to see what is left also.
Perhaps if you buy something from them from stock they may drop ship or order something for you as well. Can't hurt to ask.

Thanks Matt, I placed a good order 3 weeks ago but never thought to ask. I'll call. When talking to Russ he said he wanted to do more coyote hunting than prairie dog hunting.

Russ and Marsha will be missed by many. But then what do I know I'm just one of their new customers. Been getting my stuff from them since 1989.

Before Russ started business he often had a table close to ours at the local gun show. We talked 22 bench rest shooting back then with most of us competitors shooting Win 52 target models. Russ has collected 52's for many years and may still have the largest collection of those rifles. He and Marsha are the nicest folks with both reliable and honest their middle name. Most all my shooting stuff was bought from them and for a very long time...
