Best wishes.
Health is good except for the normal "you are in your 70's" back issues but working out and Advil keeps that at bay to a bearable degree. I posted this pic of the truck when I got it done about a year ago. New Crate engine with about 40 or 50 more horse in this 350 then the factory issued 350 as memory serves (not very good I might add on the memory function). New tranny, rebuilt transfer case, all new suspension. All new interior and paint by the best body man in the area. Basically a ground up restoration from all the best men in their particular fields in this area. Runs great, a lot more punch and significantly better gas mileage. Gets a fair amount of attention from guys that like old trucks much like I do .

Hope you're doing well and shooting a bit.

Don't look like it's been dirty yet there.
Has it by now?
Glad it seems to be working out well so far.

I'm in the middle of having my old '69 Chevy C-10 work truck
put back on the road. 'nother hole in the water to fill with money!
Nothing like what you poured into that one though.

About the same for pains and health. Had a second knee put in the
R one that didn't work at all. Still not right. That was Jan.
In June, spine was kinked too much and lotta nerve pain down the leg
etc. This makes 4 rods and 14 3" lag screws now, my third trip for back
fixings.

Had 2 more rods, 4 more screws and three wedges put in. Whole lot
better but, still lots of spasms and some pain above the hips.
Like you, 70's: 77 is next end of Jan IF I'm still around.

Best wishes, enjoy TG tomorrow. We miss you Doug, don't stay gone so
much.

It looks very nice. Yes, there is just something about the old trucks and even cars, that the news one's just don't have, even in todays market. Bill K

Have discovered lots of VHA mags,Precision Shooting mags and Small Caliber News as I finalize my move to the mountains.Looking forward to rereading some of the great articles once I get settled in.Need to catch up soon my friend

Best of luck on the move Matt. For the last couple of years I have been reading and re reading the same magazines you mention. Those were the days, nothing can compare. I sure wouldn't mind seeing everyone in person again at least just one more time.

Default Thanks Jon

As I get older I realize the good old days really were good and while I don’t want to live in the past,I need to continue doing what makes me happy and never let the old man in as Clint Eastwood says.Friends are the best gift we ever have been given.
