Default Bill K

Had a message from Bill last night.

"Fire coming close enough they've requested
we split the scene, please don't send e'mail til
I say we're back again".

At the time the fire was 3-4 miles away and coming
toward them.

You praying types, might send a few that way.

Just looked at the Colorado wildfire tracking, didn't know fire activity was so high. Hasn't been anything in the news, usually even in Minnesota western fires make the news. Probably doesn't fit the narrative, fire suppression crews working,to stay home.

Can't remember what town he is near, other than Northern CA in the woods. Here is the Cal Fire site to see where all the active fires are located, in case anyone remembers.

Bill K lives just above Susanville, CA in what is called Forest Estates. They are trying
to put a fire break a round the entire area in hopes of saving the community.
Telephone service is out at this time, as I have tried several times to contact him.
They do have a daughter that lives in Susanville they can stay with until they are
able to go home. That's all the information I have at this time. Varmint Shooter

I'm sending some prayers his way. Bill K has been a wonderful man to deal with. He has helped me out tremendously over the last year since I joined this forum. We check in on each other from time to time and he is always willing to give me his opinion on things. I hope they are able to save his home. Beautiful country he lives in. He invited me out last year and with buying a house I just couldn't fit the trip in. Now with Covid I don't feel like traveling at all. Hopefully things calm down in this crazy world!
