New CZ 527 221 FB
I purchased a new CZ 527 Carbine in .223 ordered a Krieger .700" at 22" and sent it to be barreled. I pillar and glass bedded the action just in front of the lug. Barrel is 22", no turn .255 neck and .025 freebore. I broke it in and these are 2 of the first groups with 5 different powders. Scott

Very nice looking targets.
Does the CZ action get along with the Fireball cases?

Impressive groups for just getting started - not too much room for improvement there!

Very nice. My 221FBs like RL-7 and AA2200, never tried the two powders you used.

I got lucky with this one. I used new Lapua brass, ran an expander into the necks and they came out .001 under the V Max, checked the flash holes and chamfered. Loaded .010 short with CCI 400 primers.

Got to love the little 221 FB. Looks like she's a shooter. Those are great groups. Nice rifle. Enjoy her.

BINGO! right off the bat. Gotta love that. Time to sell it, no further work to do.
BORING!

I put together loads with 1/10 grain more powder and Sierra BK's, I'll see how they shoot next week. I'll post the results.
