Default .17 hhh

I just got back from shooting the .17HHH with a little tweaking, it should be a real shooter. It started life as a H&R SB2 frame, with a rechambered .17hmr barrel. The first two shots of the last three groups were withing 1/4" and the third shot opened the groups up to 1 1/4". I really found out that I am not man enough to shoot for groups with an 8 lb. trigger on a 8 lb. rifle. I am confident that after a forend bedding, trigger job, or a small port-a-power to pull the trigger, it will be a 1/2-3/4" groups with factory ammo, and who knows with hand loads. The worst part is that it was raining, and the private range, I used was half way between my folks and 40 acres of grass rats.
FWI , I have less than $200 in this gun, less reamer.
