Tried some in my .20/222 behind a Trail Boss workup. Poor accuracy with that combo and didn't get around to trying other possibilities yet. I can't see why they shouldn't shoot OK with something or other. Any suggestions?

I don’t know much about the cast bullets stuff. Wouldn’t really know what to say. Was these the 30 gr bullets from the molds we had made here on the group buy that you are shooting?

The bullets I have look just like the ones posted in that second link/thread. Cast out of linotype, as cast, Lee Liquid Alox and Motor Mica. Now I just have to make the time to do some further testing, maybe with Unique?? I wouldn't doubt that Red Dot may prove to be usable too, if I can get a little of it from some trap shooter. That's one I just never, ever worked with.

I believe using Trailboss eliminates the need for Cast Bullets.
I consistently use TB for low speed loads for shots under 40 yds. |
