I have a set like those that I made myself. I'll say one thing they are worth every penny that they cost. They are time consuming to make.

looks like something that should have been made years ago! Nice!

Did he make the bushing with a radius shoulder, as Skip did, or are they straight shouldered?

I have something similar as well, made from a Lee Universal expander die. That die body allow for someone to make inserts like those above. So simple, even a caveman can...

Got a set and they work better than SLICK!! In the "future", Paul is also planning to make the bushings in 20 and maybe even 17? THAT would be a great addition to the set. From there, the sky would be the limit. These dies are a GREAT start.
One thing, plan ahead cause the shoulder goes back REAL FAST. Go slow and measure as you go or you'll end up with a "short" whatever you're wanting. |

Ray they are radius shoulders, I used these to start my viper cases.

Thanks Drew, I was hoping he'd had used a 30* shoulder. Mine are from Skip and they have bailed me out a few times. The radius makes it a little tricky to set up.

Ray, does make it slightly tricky - I used a Neil Jones setup with 30° bushings to take it from 22 cal down to 17.

Neils bushings are my go to bushing in most of my forming. I actually often use Skips die body with Neils bushing on short cases.
