Default ISO 17 caliber decapping and neck sizing die

So I have multiple decapping dies but nothing small enough for the 17 calibers I've been playing around with lately. Does someone make a decapping die specifically for the 17 caliber rounds. And is there a universal neck sizing die for 17's. I've had a lot of luck with the 20 caliber neck sizing die that Hornady makes but with all my google searching and looking at all the online websites nothing has popped up on my radar. Can someone lead me in the right direction. I'd appreciate it. Thanks

Default This one is good.

I have this one made by Sinclair. I haven't had any issues and its well built like everything Sinclair makes. I can't help about your neck sizing die question. Make sure you add the 17/20 cal decapping rod.

You can use this rod -

In a small Redding decapping die -

if you can/t find anything more suitable.

I believe you can also construct a similar RCBS depriming die by using similar RCBS components.

I have various Wilson Dies and just use a decapping rod from any of several 17 caliber Wilson neck sizing dies (with or without the neck sizing die, as appropriate) to decap cases for further processing or for cleaning cases and primer pockets as a first step in reloading.

I often like to deprime in a separate step to allow me to clean cases and primer pockets using stainless steel pins in a rotary tumbler.

I don’t really know about a universal neck sizing die but you can use a slightly oversized (but same length) Wilson neck sizing die with an appropriate bushing to accomplish the task.

L.E. Wilson makes punch & base sets for de-priming. I've used them for years. They work very well. 410gauge

Wilson dies, an arbor press and a set of Skip Otto shims give reloaders a lot of flexibility.

If you go the Redding route , buy extra rods, you'll need them if you decap a bunch of brass.

If you have an arbor press (or maybe this would be a good excuse to buy one) Wilson would be a good way to go. A serious reloader will have many uses for Wilson equipment.

Check out https://www.mightyarmory.com/
I searched for 17 cal and got a hit on the site but was a review.

I've got the decap/swage die set up, works very well on 20 & 22 calibers I have. The 20 cal decap pin works well on 22 cal with no issues but I'm not cranking hard on anything. If I feel some resistance when decapping, I ease up and go slow until the primer pops out.

You can buy the high priced decapping die from several outfits, but a Lee Pricision one, is less money and does the job of decapping all the 17 calibers just fine.
