Any CFE BLK users?
Hello guys, my Tub of lil gun is dwendling down and i'm debating on trying cfe blk as I'm reading it is outperforming lil gun with less pressure. Any real world experience? this will be for my .223 short and soon to be 22 Mamba (16.3gr and ~16.8gr H2o 22 caliber wildcats)
Thanks, George |

Can't help you with the 223 short, but I have one load, very accurate and good FPS in my 17 Fire ball. Like it very well in that round. 16 plus grains with the 20 grain bullet. Bill K

Cfe blk
I've used CFE BLK in my; .221 FB and in the .17AH, both with excellent results, load data per the current Hodgdon recommendations. Did not chronograph either, but the accuracy was really good in both. It seems to like a case full to almost full, but I'd start lower with a different caliber.

I use it in some small cartridges, some, such as hornet and the 17 VHA, but have not tried it in larger sized rounds/cases like the fire ball, just always felt it was not right for them. Bill K

Not I -- never worked with either cartridge, previously never even heard of the latter.
