Default .17 ackley hornet literature - sticky

Jim, I would like this to be a sticky on .17 AH literature. I would like all of us to list every relevant 17 AH article, note, book, etc, discussing this caliber.
Thanks everyone

I have scanned and created a five page PDF of a very good article on the 'new' 17 AH by John Hill originally published in the April 1974 edition of Australian Sporting Shooter magazine.

The rifle was a custom 17 AH based on a Brno ZKW 465, created by legendary South Australia gunsmith Bill Hambly-Clark Jr... now recently retired and author of the exceptional Centrefire Rifle Accuracy.

Trouble is its 2.4Mb

Any tips on how I can upload a PDF that big?

I think www.dropbox.com has a limit around 5Gb so create an account there and link it here.

Default .17 Hornet....

Thanks for posting this information. I have a BRNO ZKW 465 that I've converted to .17 Hornady Hornet. There were some magazine feeding issues that I was able to solve. If anyone has any questions on how to do the mods to get good feeding, feel free to inquire.

Saunders' book on .17 caliber shooting has a lot of ..17AH load data. I have the book, but have no idea how to link to the data or post it.

There is some .17A.H> load data in P.O. Ackley's book as well, rather old now, but relevant. Same story -- no idea how to post it.
