When I posted my original comment, I did not mean to imply any panic or bad scoop info.. Just passing on what some of the suppliers have written in some of their ads and flyers in the past week, that I saw and read.
Everyone is free too do as they wish, in regards to checking and planning ahead. It is all your choice, at least for those of us in Kalifornia. Bill K |

I wonder if some of these suppliers are confused by what THEY are hearing. Or, are they looking at the writing on the wall and simply figure that is what it will come to and have decided to be proactive???

In NY you already can't have ammo shipped to your home. Has to be through an FFL. It's a BS system that doesn't have the money for proper background checks or a database. Some dealers refuse to do this service. Others charge for it. The law got pushed in but with no financial backing so we are regulated but have no support to obey the law. Components haven't been on the list but I'm sure that is the next step. Idiocy. If I shoot 1k rounds a year, who's business is that? I'm not doing anything illegal and shouldn't end up on a watch list like some terrorists.

I saw some of it when the wife and I went there when the youngest was stationed in El Paso (base)(94) and his first son was born. I could enjoy, I think, hunting down there. But now pushing 80 years, just too old to be moving off my mountain, even if it is in commie Kalifornia. Bill K

Too old, too stubborn, too lazy too ----whatever
guess you'll just have to live with it then. Too damned many from CA have moved to Colorado and screwed things up for us already. Texas would welcome you folks.

A good bit east of El Paso there is still a lot of land that be had for $100-$150 per acre. What's there, nothing, I mean nothing except deer, predators, varmints, dove & quail, and occasionally illegal Mexicans.
Bill, just curious, can an individual person from another state send you reloading stuff and ammo direct to you when that law goes in effect? Jim D SE Texas
