Default lead free ?

Does anyone make lead free bullets in 17 cal for reloaders other than LeHigh?
Has any of you tried the LeHigh 17's in 18 or 20 grain?

I tried and still have some of their 17 cal 18 grain and they shot pretty good to about 100 yards, but beyond that they started opening up in group size.
They do, do a number on varmints, opening them up really well.
They are a decent bullet and for small stuff to around the 100-125 yd mark would be fine, but they are pricey. Bill K

Thanks Bill. Was hoping someone knew of other 17's coming available. Of my 6 squirrel guns, 4 of them are 17's and the calif. lead ban is going to put them out of commission.

Let's hope, for at least one source, that Hornady will sell their NTX 15.5 grain bullet, as a reload item, in their bullet line up. It is a dandy in the 17 HMR. Bill K
