Well if you want to check out our commie governor's priorities, just look at how he says gun store are not essential and must close, yet marijuana and vape store he allows to stay open, as he says they are. you can tell where is brain is.
However I know of several gun store still staying open serving the legal citizens and believing in the Constitution and Bill of Rights. And they have decent supplies on hand. Bill K

Got a phone call from the owner of a LGS that I use last week. He had acquired a significant amount of ammo and reloading supplies from a customer who was downsizing and wanted to know if I had any interest in any of it. The 3000 rounds of 17HM2 in Hornady and Remington added to my declining supply.

Somehow he had 300 rounds of Blue bag Winchester 223WSSM nib. Didn't need it but he wanted to sell it worse than I wanted to buy it.

As to ammo and guns, he still had a good supply. Was saving for his regular customers who needed it, not the stockpilers or phone buyers from outside his trade area. He had not changed his prices. He wasn't going to let me clean him out of high demand varieties as he figured that I had a pretty good supply on hand.

Was in another shop the prior week and they had had a run on 9mm and were out of it. Looked like the other varieties were available.

You should never run out of 223 WSSM brass after all the stuff you got from me a while back. Wish I could find a deal on Mach 2 ammo. Been eyeing a Cooper 57M in that chambering. I only have 500 rounds on the shelf for that caliber. I've never owned one but purchased one for my dad the first year they came out. He still loves that gun. Would love to know how many groundhogs he has got with it over the years.

Our shop is open, considered "essential" only because we sell hardware, seeds, supplies. Other LGS are closed or operating "by appointment only". Our business has been crazy. Sold out of most pistol ammo. Low on handguns and AR's. Running on limited hours trying to catch up, as mentioned before. And because we're short staffed. Some employees don't want to work due to COVID I guess.

We (PA) recently dodged a bullet. A REPUBLICAN representative from Montgomery County (city slicker) sponsored a House bill 2344 that would require ammo purchases to require an authorized permit ($50/4 yrs) and require ammo purchasers to go thru background checks. It would also restrict home delivery of ammo (kinda like Kali) and require online purchases to be sent to a dealer for transfer. No out of state ammo purchases either. On top of that, they wanted a $3 tax per each transaction.

Wasn't much said on the news about this, last I heard it died. THANK GOODNESS!!!

Even though he says that he's a Republican, that sounds like some squirrely legislation to fund some liberal dream. I'm glad that it went away. Hang in there, Charlie.
