Default Powder load following fireforming 20 PPC

What change can I expect in powder loads after fireforming 220 Russian Lapua brass? I have read that some people use the same powder load for fireformed brass in other cartridges and some use less. I will be testing 39 gr Sierras and both the V-Max and Nosler 40 gr bullets.

Thanks,

Chuck

All kinds of ways to load and fire form. I personally load a charge in the area of what my loads will or are and fireform with them.
Often the fireform loads are pretty accurate, in themselves.
So you have so many choices, do what you feel best with and do it, just play safe and sane.

I load my 220 Russian cases with VV 133 to just below the neck (25 gr) to blow them out to my 6 PPC final chamber size. Most times I shoot them during a match at the sighter target and they are very accurate. After initial fire forming I will load them with 29 to 30 grains of VV133 or 28 (+-) of LT 32 which ever is shooting well in the conditions were shooting in.
