Just a bit of info
Have my desktop set so it boots right to this page.
I never see the opening page so wasn't even aware of the Tribute to Fallen Members until Kenbro sent it about BCB yesterday. That's great Charlie, many thanks. Reading Hal's tributes and many others. I see he asked several times about Larry Trotter. It's too late to let him know now. Larry was div'd, had one dau. Within a few years after he retired from on ship duty. I believe was private employment. His daughter died, he never told me what happened to take her. Her death really sent him into deep depression. He dropped out of most everything in his life over it. This was 5 or 6 years ago near as I can guess now. He responded to my e'mails the first few years then stopped all contact. I have no way of knowing if he ever comes on to read posts. From my failing memory he lived at or around Puyallup Wash. I no longer have his contact info. Surely there are others here interested in the fine man. He is much missed here. Sicero: aka Kenny Pond. Lived on a small farm near Medway, OH. Soon after his death. His wife Cathy shut everything down. both his and her own cell phones. I no longer have his info either. George

George I stopped in to see Kenny several times. By chance do you know what became of the stock duplicator he built from from scratch? He told me several times he wanted Jay T. to have it. Hope it happen. Kenny was a good guy, I enjoyed my visits with him.... and his Newfie dog.

Hi Ray:
I have no clue. We barely talked about that other than he had made one that's all I knew. We mostly talked about his cancer battle and meds. Last msg I got was: "if they don't find something that works real soon, I'm about done". Last I knew he was still not completely happy with the stock he had nearly finished at Trinidad. Kept seeing things he didn't like and Cathy had told him he was finished with it whether he liked it or not. He was tired from driving and worn out from bad health the night he stayed here. We only visited some over an hour during and after supper. Then he went to bed early, got up early for the 90 mile drive to Trinidad to get a room and rest. We did visit about 3 hours when I went down there. I still feel bad about not having further contact and Cathy not letting me, or some of us know for months until I thought to look him up on search. I never met her. She had gone to her/their dau before he came here.

You must be a tough old fart, George, still being with us with so MANY "trials". Well done. Keep keeping on.

I didn't know about Hal either. Although I had wondered - not seeing a post from him in awhile. Very sorry to hear I was right.
RIP BCB. - DAA

You're welcome Ray, wish I could help more.
Daryl: I always thought I was, but all these carving classes have worn me down a lot. Sure gets tiring having to heal up so much. since '10, only '17 didn't have any until this period since '20. Hope that's the last of it. One thing about it, I have learned more about blood trails following my own to the fire station end of the next block a few times. Even had some practice sewing myself up a few times, and giving myself knee injections. Shucks, that's no big deal!
