Default 224 45gn hp bee projectile

anyone use it in 22 hornet ?
how explosive is it at hornet speeds ?

That is what it is designed for but ballistics are pretty bad.

It works OK out to 150 - 175 yds or so, in fact I shot a sparrow hawk through the head with my model 43 at 175 paces using factory 218 Bee ammo when I was 16. That had a lot to do with my interest in accuracy shooting and smaller cartridges when I was older.

i shot flying bricks (corelokts) for years in larger cals
so im used to unslick ballistics 😂😂😂

Do yourself a big favour and load 40 grain Blitzking/Vmax in the Hornet or them and 50 Grain SPSX in the Bee. They will perform far better than the HP. The Vmax in the Hornet makes it a 300 yard gopher gun quite nicely and will hold .35 MOA to 300 yards. Sorry, I see I already posted this on your other thread.

Works good in a .218 Mashburn Bee for Steenbok and Guinea Fowl.

thanks Dean no gophers in new zealand will be for rabbits,hares and turkeys for the table come spring/summer more load testing for sure

a 500cc quad bike and 22lr,22hornet(when i get the bloody chance) or 260 rem haha i daytime hunt shoot em
