Default Federal Premium Brass

Thought I would give this stuff I try after becoming discouraged with R-P and Winchester cases in my .30-30AI. The case walls varied so much resulting in banana cases when resized and the accompanying bullet run-out. I would love to do a .22 or 6mm .30-30AI but the quality of these cases had me shy away. Along comes an email that the title cases were in stock at Midway and I placed an order. First thing I do after receipt is grab my ball micrometer and check the case neck thickness and in my 10 round sample I get a maximum .0005 variation on any case with some much less! I will update after fire-forming and resizing but I have a good feeling(Wife's bad) about this stuff and foresee another new barrel in my Encore!
